Another bit of time away from the “Garfield” takes me to a centerpiece project. Every 4 years our club hosts a Party attended by most of our members and members of a couple of other clubs from the Washington area. For this we pick a theme and work on a few things as a group and individually to make centerpieces for the party tables as well as little individual items to put into goodie bags for all to take away.
This year’s theme was “Wedding”. So we can make anything around the preparation and celebration of a wedding.
For the theme inspiration we were given a CD case (cover) as the containment size and worked on a “draped table” to start off the centerpiece. After that we were each on our own to develop the centerpiece.
I worked on this for a number of days and will probably still be adding and changing up to and including the day of the party. For now it is complete.
