Over the many years of sailing and traveling, it is amazing what one will collect. On the beach sometimes you are lucky enough to come across little crab skeletons which if seen early enough after it’s demise can be preserved as vivqualiid as it’s live state.
So after many years of collecting and weeding through a lot of shells, legs, claws, I finally found my little treasures. While only a few were saved they have been preserved for at least 10 years and look fresh off the bottom of the ocean.
With a lot of TLC and frustration as their little claws kept disappearing from my desk, I finally found enough pieces to make full crabs. So here they are plated in my little platters and ready to last for a life time.
BTW…I made 4 and all 4 flew off the shelf at the Westcoast Miniature Dollhouse Show and Sale. May be able to make a couple more with a little more patience and luck finding just the right claws and legs.
Enjoy!
