Paper clay can be fun! It is also not an easy material to play with. Paper thin final product is not easy to achieve even though you are playing with paper. I did a workshop at the club to demo how to use the paper clay and it did prove itself to be not very forgiving. It can dry out before you are ready to call it finished and than it is to late. Here is my first and only attempt, so far, of paper clay. 
These bowls are made with paper clay, painted and gilded with 14k gold leaf.
